㊃ Taipei Special ★ The cool crew is back — Moon Face Dragon Temple returns to TPABF!
Q: Who are you and what do you do?
A: Moon Face Dragon Temple (MFDT) is a Taipei-based creative studio founded in 2020 by YORK YEH.
Rooted in tattoo culture, MFDT blends illustration, graphic design, and diverse artistic practices.
We work with creators from different styles and disciplines, fostering collaborations that explore new creative possibilities and bridge contemporary art with youth subcultures.
Q: Where are you from, and what role do you play in the local art book scene?
A: We are from Taipei, Taiwan.
MFDT sees itself as a platform for cultural “input and output”—a space where creators and audiences can meet, exchange ideas, and explore new directions.
We actively expand our perspective across art and design, hoping to bring forward a contemporary, culturally rich, and commercially vibrant creative landscape.
Q: What works will you bring to TPABF this year?
A: This year, we’re inviting artists from Singapore, Australia, and Japan.
Each will debut their own personal zine, and we’ll also be offering on-site tattoo sessions, bringing the connection between art and the body into direct experience.
