when i started making art on photoshop and procreate a couple years ago i had no idea what i was doing, i only had a vision 🧿
i started out creatively as a florist, but the stress of weddings sent me into total burnout. i needed a change that still felt true to me.
i’m very proud of myself for sticking with Wilted Pleasures despite my own worst enemy ~ myself.
i finally started teaching myself how to sew on the machine that’s been boxed away in my closet for 10 years (literally). I’ve sewn cool stuff (even if most of it doesn’t fit me!!! ahhhh!!!!). i also tried my first beaded embroidery, and i have plans to hopefully incorporate some of my sewing projects into WP in the future, as well as more of my floristry work.
since 2024, i’ve brought my flower arrangements and art to pop up markets, made over 100 Etsy sales (hey, i never thought i’d even get one okay!), and have started cultivating a wonderful community of fellow artists + creatives in my orbit.
i know the world is in chaos and life feels heavy, but i implore you to continue forging on and CREATING 🥀🩷
