1. It made me get into the habit of being on time to everything like training, events, casual meet ups. This is because if you are not early to set, you are considered late.
2. Started to respect and take care of my body more like eating healthier, drinking less sugary drinks, sleeping earlier, doing sauna/ice baths. If the body is not in a good shape, it can't perform as well as it should on set.
3. Made me a more safe and calm person. As you are encountering high risk environments all the time, you naturally will treasure safety more in your day to day life.
4. Has made me a more social person. Since working on films sets involve many people, you are forced to communicate with others to work as a team.
5. You essentially get paid to train. All those hard hours you put in at martial arts dojos, gymnastic venues etc, those skills would help your work on set and help you land jobs.
6. Made me a more happy / motivated person as i get to wake up excited for work / excited to go train.
7. Made me a more disciplined person. The super early morning start times, hitting the mark on every take, helping your team mates out whenever you can, shooting for 12 hours daily in wild terrain does something to a person mentally.
