For the last couple of years I’ve been doing concert photography, I’m sure that’s how most of you seeing this got here.
I worked with 200+ bands & artists, met thousands, yes THOUSANDS of new people (something I never thought about) and took hundreds of thousands of photos of the stage and the smiling faces looking at it.
That being said, starting tomorrow, I will no longer be doing concert photography. I am not done with photography, I don’t think I’ll ever be, I just don’t have the time or mental capacity to continue shooting shows. Every single goal I set for myself and my photography I hit this year and found my closure no matter how bad it sucks to even be writing this. I cannot express my gratitude enough to the scene, OUR scene, for supporting me through this. I worked with a lot of big bands, but no one believed in me like my scene did. I’ve been part of this scene since I was 15 years old and being able to grow up and watch it grow with me has been one of the most fulfilling things I’ve done and truly, with tears in my eyes, I cannot thank you enough. A special shout out to the following people/bands that were crucial and integral to my growth and opportunities. I can’t list everyone, but know that every show mattered, every single promo meant the world to me. Ngl my heart and soul is still in Prague. I fell in love as soon as we got there and wouldn’t stop comparing every place we went to to it for the rest of the trip. I will absolutely go back and I recommend you go too. 😭💕
