Recently reignited my blog ✍️
First couple entries going back over my start in filmmaking and what a great period that really was. Film school, 35MM action, a trip to Moscow, going viral all in a very short space of time. I haven’t ‘looked back’ in a while and I’ve found the process quite invigorating, almost reassuring, even reaffirming which I hadn’t expected.

5 years since I sat down to write “The Fence” It was during Covid! 😷 I must admit it has been criminally hard getting any traction on a second film despite everything we achieved as a bunch of young filmmakers. However, I am please to share that I have been quietly working away on a new story I think is worthy of all the blood, sweat, tears and dosh required to make one of these things 🎬

My last day as a teacher 🥺
A massive thank you to my staff mates and to the 100 or so students I’ve had the pleasure of helping over the past 18 months. This job kept me going, kept my spirits high and taught me new things about myself. I needed it a lot more than it needed me and I will always be grateful for @boomsatsuma for the opportunity.
I now think everyone should teach at some point in their lives, like a mandatory service 🤣 It might reveal just how much you don’t know.
When in Rome... go to a @nothingbutthieves concert... 💥 Thank you @daniellamarinos1 for letting me tag along. I haven't been on holiday for years and I wouldn't have known how badly I really needed it! Highly recommend taking professional photographer friends on holiday with you 📸
