Will always loved making his mates and family laugh but never considered himself as someone who could perform on stage. After moving to Liverpool in late 2022 Will took part in improv sessions for a little while to increase his confidence and hung round open mics as an audience member until he felt ready to take the plunge.
After starting comedy in August 2023, Will has had a quick rise in the Liverpool comedy scene. Providing tales from a messed up life that could only lead to a Stand Up routine, this blended with solid joke writing and warm stage presence means Will connects to audiences immediately. This was proven in July last year when Will won the feather fixer comedy competition and Beat the Frog. Followed this year by winning Hot Waters 3 minutes to fame.
We recently had Will on our Live at Walshaw show and Will showed why this quick rise was warranted, with a solid performance keeping the audience engaged throughout with honest joke telling and a likeable persona we can only see him going from strength to strength over the coming years!
