Get @reshare_app@transit_bookstore We’ve been keeping up with news of the strikes on Lebanon and Iran, and the title alone reminds us of all the people who died in April. It turns out this book depicts the struggles of migration and holding on to one’s ancestral land and the hopes of survival. Considering the current political climate, All That Dies in April is a timely read. Lina and Relicario’s story exists in conversation with so many other people whose stories we hear about on the news. #transitbookstore #UnaccustomedEarth #tokobukujakarta #climatefiction #latinamericanfiction

In the March Edition of @latamlittoday , @willmstar and @samanthaschnee discuss the process of co-translating All That Dies in April by @mariana_travacio . All That Dies in April, a novel by Argentine writer Mariana Travacio, was published in English by World Editions in September 2025, in co-translation by Will Morningstar and Samantha Schnee. In this conversation, Samantha and Will discuss the surprises and challenges of this team effort, the benefits of collaborative translation, and the lessons they learned through the translation process. /2026/03/co-translating-all-that-dies-in-april-a-conversation-between-will-morningstar-and-samantha-schnee/

We are so excited to launch ur new READ THE WORLD A TO Z series. Launching in Fall 2026, Read the World A to Z allows readers to travel the globe with the most influential voices from Argentina to Zambia! With three new volumes published each season, this collectible series features translated novels from A to Z—one country for every letter of the alphabet. The first three volume of the Read the World A to Z series, publishing on 10/6/26, take you to Argentina, Belgium and China. Translated by Will Morningstar and Samantha Schnee, All That Dies in April is an ancestral tale rooted in a long Latin American history of rural displacement by Mariana Travacio, one of Argentina’s most celebrated authors. Written by the bestselling author Kristien Hemmerechts and translated by Paul Vincent The Woman Who Fed the Dogs offers a deep-dive into the mind of Belgium's most hated woman, the wife of serial killer Marc Dutroux. The third volume of the Read the World A to Z series takes you to China with Zhang Yueran’s Cocoon, translated by Jeremy Tiang and called a “luminous gateway into current Chinese fiction” by the Wall Street Journal. Curious about the next titles in the series? We've signed up books all the way through the letter K = Korea! We will be offering Read the World A to Z subscription boxes and a book club. Look forward to virtual and/or in person events with the authors and translators, special information packages about the literary landscape of the featured country and exciting swag. If you are an advocate for translated literature, you have the opportunity to join our launch team! There are multiple ways to partner with us on the launch. Just DM us or leave a comment.
