Day 4: The Holy Mountain 👁️🧘♂️
Continuing my series of film sound reconstructions. This movie is a total fever dream, and diving into its sonic world was a ritual in itself. Huge respect to Ronald Frangipane, Don Cherry, and Jodorowsky for the original hauntingly beautiful landscape.
The original is a masterpiece, but here is my personal take on this scene. 🔊

Day 3: Death in Vain.
A stunning black-and-white psychological thriller by Lebanese director Christelle Abdo. From start to finish, the tension is relentless—the suspense of what is waiting for her at the end of the stairs is enough to keep you on edge. I wanted the audio to mirror that exact feeling.
Turn the volume up for the full experience.

Today: The Voice Thief (2013).
This movie is a total masterpiece—visually insane and an incredibly interesting watch. I’m stripping away the original audio and building a new sonic atmosphere from scratch to match these surreal visuals.
10/10 short film.

Reconstructing the sound design of scenes from films I like. Today: 964 Pinocchio (1991).
High-intensity visuals, but fair warning: it gets pretty gory. Turn the volume up for the full experience.
Which movie should I do next?

The response to this fundraising VA has been nothing short of incredible. Amidst everything happening right now, the speed and heart with which these artists submitted their tracks felt like a much-needed reminder of why we do this.
100% of the proceeds from this project are dedicated to Em Mohammad’s Karentina Kitchen to help families displaced by the Israeli attacks in Lebanon. Huge love to the artists for making this happen so fast.
Thank you @blackphillip93.22 for the mastering and @rayaannnnnnnnnn for the artwork ✨
