I woke up this morning hoping it was all a bad dream.
But my father, William Linton, left this earth last night.
We were writing his life story together and left fifteen questions unfinished. I now understand that the answers live in me.
The time we spend with our loved ones never truly ends. They live inside of us, not just through the blood we share, but through the moments and lessons that shape who we become.
My dad went to the gym well into his 70s, not just to train, but to connect. He believed movement was life, curiosity kept you young, and that caring for your body was an act of hope.
Everything I am, I am my father’s son. Stubborn. Driven. Loving. Soft in hard moments, yet firm enough to stand up to adversity.
A good day for him was simple, hot tea, a warm blanket, and the comfort of knowing things were okay, but he truly lit up when his phone rang or a gym buddy stopped by. He loved movies, science fiction, and stories that stretched the imagination beyond what we think is possible.
If my dad were here today, he’d want you to call your loved ones. Hug them. Go for a walk. Smell the air. Release fear and anger. Choose love. And take a moment to admire the creativity, talent, and drive of the people around you, tell them you see it.
As we head into the new year, don’t just make resolutions, build habits that change your life for good. Be proactive about your health, not reactive.
The love he gave me didn’t end.
It became a responsibility.

I’ve always been drawn to magic… but I never imagined I’d perform it myself.
This year, in Vegas, I saw David Blaine and Shin Lim. Something shifted.
I bought my first deck of cards and couldn’t put it down… cards falling from my hands everywhere I went.
On tour, friends challenged me to do a backstage show. Near the end, I found the courage… with the help of incredible friends, magicians, and family who believed in me.
Magic isn’t my career. But it’s a passion I can’t let go of.
