Sun-soaked and staying busy! 🌞 We’ve had a glorious day getting stuck into the soil at Highfield, starting with pollarding the Salix alba to reinforce the willow dead hedge at the top of the Queen’s Garden and the Memorial. We transitioned from the heavy lifting of the willow to the delicate work of weeding, pruning, and planting in the Butterfly Garden. There’s nothing quite like the satisfaction of nurturing nature and watching the garden come to life. 🌿
