“Previously it was just unused space… now it’s a fully usable 2 bedroom apartment.”
Great to hear this client share their experience after we transformed the area beneath their home into a self-contained living space for family, guests, and future flexibility.
From the initial planning through to the finished build, this project involved completely reworking the space underneath the existing house to create something practical, comfortable, and built to suit their needs long term.
Really appreciate the recommendation and the trust placed in our team throughout the entire process 👏

A closer look through this Kuluwin renovation.
What was once an open area beneath the home has been completely transformed into a functional extension of the house, designed to feel like it’s always been there.
Projects like this are all about seeing the potential in an existing space and building in a way that works seamlessly with the original structure.
Really proud of how this one came together.

A recent project we’ve just completed in Kuluwin.
The existing home was built up on steel posts and beams, with a large unused area underneath. The clients came to us looking to make better use of the space and turn it into something functional for the family.
Starting from what was originally just a concrete slab and open structure, we were able to create a completely new living area underneath, along with a covered outdoor space designed to stay dry and usable year round.
A great example of working with the existing home and making the most of what’s already there. 👏

Same block. Completely reimagined.
From knockdown to a home that actually fits the way it’s lived in. Every detail considered, every space working harder.
Proud of how this one came together.
Big thanks to the team who brought it to life 👏

Maroochy Elegance - This residential renovation showcases what is possible when reinventing an existing home. This transformation is a standout for the street and proves that not all projects warrant a million dollar plus budget to achieve a great outcome. Congrats to our amazing clients Jared Pinkstone @mikaylapinkstone on their new home and and a special mention to @williamsonbuilders for a quality build!
Another look through this Maroochydore build.
This project gave us the chance to rethink the entire site, reshaping the layout, refining the design, and delivering a home that makes full use of the block.
At Williamson Builders, it’s never just about building, it’s about creating a space that fits your lifestyle, works with your land, and stands the test of time.
Appreciate all the skilled trades who played a part in bringing it together 👏

On this split-level project, the goal was clear early, keep the existing footprint and make it work better.
We extended off the lower level to bring everything onto one consistent plane, simplifying the layout and improving how the home comes together as a whole.
This is where early involvement makes a difference. Sitting down with the owner and architect from the start meant we could guide the construction side, methods, materials, and what would actually work on site.
The result was a concept that came together quickly, with fewer revisions and a smoother path through design.
That’s the advantage of a well-run custom build.

Back at this Maroochydore knockdown rebuild we’ve just wrapped up.
Originally a split-level home from the 70s, we took it right back to floor level to retain the existing footprint, then built it back out with additional bedrooms, bathrooms, and a double garage to the side.
The focus inside was opening the home up, cleaner flow through the main living, with skylights bringing natural light into the centre of the space.
A practical way to rework an older home without starting completely from scratch.

Meet Russell, the builder behind Williamson Builders.
Building homes since 1990, with experience across new builds, renovations, and knock down rebuilds.
His approach is simple. Get involved early, work closely with architects and engineers, and solve problems before they become costly during the build.
By bringing everyone together from the start, the process runs smoother, timelines stay tighter, and clients get a better result.
It’s not just about building homes. It’s about building them the right way.

Starting your new home build in Noosa, or on the Sunshine Coast, is an exciting venture. To get started on the right foot, here are four things to consider:
1. Define your vision and requirements for the new home - Consider your lifestyle. Think long-term about your future needs. Start to gather inspiration.
2. Get clear on your budget - Determine your financial capacity: Create a budget and allow for unexpected expenses. Organise your finance pre-approval.
3. Understand the land - Consider the characteristics of the block – size, shape, slope, orientation, and potential views. Begin researching your local council regulations.
4. Choose Your Home Builder - Do your research on the different types of builders. Seek recommendations and referrals, review portfolios and past work.
