Some buildings do more than replace what was lost, they help a community move forward.
At Red Crow Community College, the new campus emerges from resilience. After the loss of the former site, this project became an opportunity to create a place of healing, learning, and cultural continuity for the Kainai Nation.
Designed through deep collaboration, the college reflects Blackfoot identity in every layer. From its gathering spaces and round room for Elders, to its connection with the land and community.
A space to learn, to gather, and to grow.

When space is limited but knowledge keeps growing, design has to think differently.
For the University of Calgary High Density Library, Kasian developed a high-performance storage solution that maximizes capacity while safeguarding invaluable archives. The result is a facility that works quietly behind the scenes so learning and discovery can take center stage.
