In training if you want to jump higher or lift more a simple knowledge of result provides feedback to your intentions and will prompt you to figure out the best strategy to solve what it is you want to achieve through your intention.
Find ways to gauge success or failure
Strength is one thing. But you also need to learn how to move that weight with intent and speed.
Cleans are probably the best way to do so, be an athlete. Learn how to clean.
