NEO ARCHIVE / Poster 0001
Monthly Poster Series by @memorylandstudio
Neo Archive is a monthly poster series about sharing information and exploring how past archives connect to the present and future. Each edition is a limited newsprint poster, created to share information, inspiration, and fragments of research.
@william.mora_
For the first edition, William works with typographic and ornamental archives from historical sources, including:
* Alphabets & Ornaments (Ernst Lehner)
* Specimens of Type & Ornaments (American Type Founders Company)
* Early Advertising Alphabets & Initials (C.P. Hornung)
Using these materials, he reinterprets old alphabets, decorative motifs, and print fragments into a contemporary neo-archive.
