Ask a Coach for information about our Parkour Team program. Pre-season practices have begun and Try outs will be later this year to join us for the Competitive year (Oct-April)
Am I ready to Compete? Tryouts do not have a level requirement, however we will have skill requirements that are parallel to Level 3 skills and most formats will start at 8 years old.
What if I am not 8 years old yet? There are competitions throughout the year that start at 5 years old. If your family is interested in staying in the loop ask Coach Jason/Mel/Will to stay informed and we would be happy to support you with schedules as well as private lessons.

This competition was both a wonderful experience, and a reminder of how important it is to stay present in our sport and how much we can happen if we stay quiet.
Not to get anything confused. There was an issue in the competition. A judging was ruled against an athlete that I believe as a parkour practitioner, to be justified. However the jury of appeal had to be set in motion by the head of the board for FIG parkour. (This appeal did not come from any athlete or their federation). Due to the rules as written the ruling was overturned. I believe this opened many eyes to the work that needs to be done on the rules for parkour to be ready for the Olympics. There are many people who will put in work to try and make the space better for the athletes and I believe we can make this happen together.
There are those that sit on their butt until there is an issue and then shout complaints at anyone who will listen. From a position where they take no actual actions to make it better. There are those that have stepped against this movement and created new and wonderful options for athletes, and those opportunities will have their own issues. To be worked through to grow
But my work will continue to help a future student of parkour. Have the opportunity one day to raise an Olympic medal for the sport of parkour. Be it from inside a federation or out.

This month the Parkour Team returned from the @usaparkour_official CUP in Austin, Texas! They competed amongst some of the nation's best athletes in both Speed and Freestyle formats. Big congratulations goes out to Micah for taking 3rd place in the 12-15 division. And Kingston qualified in the onsite qualifier often considered the toughest of rounds, not to mention this being his first national Parkour competition. We are very blessed in this world to have the opportunity to do what we love on an international stage. Being able to unite together as a world in some small ways are just a representation of the hard work and sacrifices that brave men and women from all over the world have afforded us. On this Memorial Day we honor the fallen of this great country, knowing that the effort is not yet done and may never truly be done.
However we hold onto the hope that we can achieve peace and for one day the need for a veterans day will be a thing of the past. That one day the last soldier of this world can die on a peaceful planet and Memorial Day will truly thank all those who have fought and died for this country. But until then we will honor those who sacrifice and those who have sacrificed. Allowing small moments where we can represent our country in a peaceful and united way. Thank you and Happy Memorial Day
