In the studio lately —
Wrapped up branding for @eausnapfragrance – a fabulous New York based fragrance consultant and @colejacksonlondonhair – a London based hairstylist and colourist looking to grow her personal brand as well as her coworking salon @home_of_london
Kicking off new projects with a wellness-focused athleisure brand and an interior architecture studio. As always, ongoing creative retainer with @loewenzahnorganics – but not just that, more exciting things are cooking!
Meanwhile the proposals keep coming – pilates studio, skincare, and clothing brands and mental health specialists – I have the privilege to meet some of the most inspiring founders looking to grow their businesses.
That being said, May is fully booked and one spot still open in June — if you’ve been sitting on it, now is the time (link in bio).
We’re also building out an approachable offer for founders who want ongoing creative support, not just a one-off project. And growing the team to match demand. Busy in the best way!

Scroll through any mom and baby brand’s Instagram right now. What do you see?
Dusty rose. Round fonts. Softness. Copy that soothes rather than respects. An aesthetic designed for a version of motherhood that never existed. The palette of gentle overwhelm. The language of grateful exhaustion.
Meanwhile the modern mother is running a business, making complex purchasing decisions, demanding ingredient transparency, and has no patience for being talked down to. She’s sophisticated, discerning, and she can see straight through the condescension of brands that are still designing for a stock photo of her rather than the actual her.
We’re in the early stages of a new project in this space. We found the thread. Now we follow it.
If you’re building a brand in the parenting or motherhood space and something about the visual language available to you has always felt off — that’s worth a conversation. Link in bio or [email protected]

Most of the anxiety around starting a branding project comes from not knowing what to expect. The decisions that feel large. The feedback that’s hard to give. The fear that the final result won’t feel like you.
We’ve built our process around that.
A client portal keeps everything in one place so you always know where things stand.
Strategy deep dive that comes before design — always.
And when the design work begins, every decision is presented with full rationale so you can follow the thinking rather than just react to visuals.
Feedback happens in structured rounds, working together towards a joint goal of getting your brandon website just right.
You leave with brand guidelines detailed enough to brief any supplier or internal hire easily. And for founders who want a creative partner beyond the project, we stay close to support your growth.
If you’ve been thinking about your brand — a launch, a rebrand, or a website that actually works — a discovery call is a good place to start. Free, no commitment, and useful regardless of what you decide.

A half-hearted rebrand doesn’t buy you time. It creates a new problem.
This is such a common thing we hear on discovery calls: “I just need a refresh for now, I’ll do a proper rebrand later anyway.” And we fully understand why. A full rebrand feels like a big commitment. A refresh feels more manageable.
But a refresh that doesn’t fix the root problem leaves you with a brand that’s neither the old thing nor the new thing. Which signals indecision to your market.
And means you’ll be back here again in 12-24 months having spent twice as much.
A refresh is the right answer when your positioning is solid and your visual system just needs updating. When the strategy is wrong, no amount of new typography fixes it.
Not sure which one you need? That’s exactly what the discovery call is for. Link in bio.

How do you position a maternal wellness spa in a market that’s either very clinical or very generic?
Medical on one side. Pastel and vague on the other. Neither of them felt like for the woman who will be walking through the door.
The strategy led us to a gap nobody had claimed yet — a space that treated pregnancy and early motherhood as the complex, powerful experience it actually is and frames all communication around making that experience as frictionless as possible. Sophisticated to feel worth it. Warm to feel safe. The guilt-free self-care positioning became the thread that held everything together: the visual language, the copy, the way the brand spoke to its audience without talking down to them. Informative and clear without sounding impersonal.

Before colour, typography, or a single design asset — we find the thread.
This is what it looks like when strategy comes first. The spa isn’t open yet, but the waitlist is growing, treatments are being prebooked, and gift cards are selling.

These aren’t rhetorical questions. They’re the kinds of questions we ask every founder we work with before we even design a single thing. Because these answers shape everything — positioning, visual language, the decisions that make a brand feel inevitable rather than arbitrary.
If you can’t answer them clearly, your brand can’t answer them either.
Save this and answer each question honestly. It’ll tell you a lot about where your brand is right now.

When Inge came to us with Frey Skin, she had a vision that was so clear in her head but challenging to translate into visuals. Science-forward but warm. Minimal but not clinical. Elevated but still accessible.
We followed with our signature process built to surface what was already true about the brand — starting with strategic work, moving through visual identity, and then into everything that comes after: label compliance, test prints, dielines, and connecting Inge with a recycled materials manufacturer who could actually deliver what the brand called for.
The brief doesn’t end at handover. It ends when the founder can move forward confidently without us. Inge’s words are in the slides.
