Great to welcome @jaskayser to #nikkiyeohsnucleussessions last night at Ronnie Scott’s.
Also nice to meet Sheila E and Roseanne Dimalanta @roseanndimalantatrio and hear their show before our set. Jas was invited up to play with @sheilae and smashed it (of course she did!) then brought that high energy to her set with her 5 piece band ‘Jas Kayser and Chums’ featuring Richie Sweet on percussion, Jamie Leaming guitar, Christos Sylienedes trumpet and Daisy George on Double bass.
Thanks to everyone who came and sat in, was a vibey and groovy jam this time, no piano on stage but the lovely Rhodes. @bass_man_zeeks@willcoxgary set up the jam with a very cool version of st Thomas and some of my @leedsmusicdrama sat in, making the journey to London in Easter break.
