I'm clearing out my studio, making room for a transition. I'm off on maternity leave now, and I'm planning on coming back with a new focus in 6 months.
I can feel the change in the air. The landscape will be very different when I come back. Looking back at old work helps to remind you what you love, what is important. Sometimes I think I should sell it all off, to make room for new work, but then I wouldn't be able to reflect back on it.

Last week I was in Bracknell at the @dalerrowney1783 factory? Did you know that they still make their paints right here in the UK?
Daler Rowney invited their customers from UK independent art stores for a Willie Wonka style tour, and I was able to join in. It was fascinating!! Amazing to get an understanding of how seriously they take quality control and sustainability.
I also did some demos - sharing how I use aquafine watercolours every day.
I've been collaborating with Daler Rowney for a number of years now; helping to test their new products and occasionally demonstrating. I use their aquafine watercolours and brushes in nearly all of my illustration work. Proud to work with an amazing British heritage brand.
I was working alongside the incredibly talented @rodneykingston (oil painter) and @jennymuncaster (mixed media and acrylic artist).
A recent commission for @ukgap to celebrate their return to the UK.
I illustrated their new Covent Garden flagship store, with the artwork used across tote bags and digital. A lovely project combining architecture, illustration and retail storytelling.
Currently taking bookings for brand and marketing illustration.

Last month, I created a series of editorial portraits for the Armenian General Benevolent Union (AGBU) magazine. The illustrations were based on quite blurry vintage photographs, each depicting an ancestor of the interviewees.
It was a beautiful project to work on, combining historical imagery and a sensitive approach to portrait illustration.
