Let’s be real: me, on the @nationalgallerysingapore Gala Steering Committee and donating my own artwork to be auctioned by @sothebys ?? 👀 At first I felt like the rookie at the table, but with the team’s guidance (and lots of laughter along the way), I’ve learned so much and made incredible new friends. Can’t believe how iconic the gala on 13 Sept is going to be✨
Sharing my painting ‘Rolling Sea’ because @willabelleart has always been the way I say everything without saying a word. Grateful (and honestly a little giddy) for the chance to give back through what I love most. 💙

Revealing my art 🖼️ One of my earlier pieces after diving back into painting, ‘Lotus Pond’ holds a quiet kind of meaning for me. The lotus has always inspired me: rooted in the mud, yet it rises and blooms with such grace. Much like art (and life). As we start our upcoming chapter with @TheOltreHouse , I’ve been drawn back to where it all began… my own @willabelleart . #TheOltreHouse
Revealing one of my favorite paintings.. Art has always felt a lot like personal style to me: a way to express what words can’t quite say. With our new house project @TheOltreHouse coming up, I’ve been feeling so inspired to revisit my own @willabelleart pieces. #TheOltreHouse
Getting intimate. I always aim to convey a certain vibrance and balance, even with an unrestrained colour palette and brushwork.
Water Lily Pond in the Rain, 2021
Acrylic on canvas, 184.5 x 124.5 cm
Nature in its simplest and most abstract form: color. My approach to life is to conquer it with a positive attitude, be grateful and embrace change.

I had been dropping by the gardens to visit their lily ponds recently, and I was fascinated by the vivid blue sky reflected in the water. This is my interpretation of the same scene but when it pours; a rain so harmonious that it peppers the canvas with dashes of colors. What are your thoughts? 🌱

The colour of both the sky and sea; of clarity, quiet and peace 🎨 I’ve always been drawn to blue, especially in my work and paintings where I aim to evoke a sense of escapism.
