Mental health doesn’t exist in a vacuum. It’s shaped by the conditions people live in every day like connection, housing, food security, safety, and how we treat one another.
Thank you to Bianca McCall of Desert Rose Gives for joining us to discuss Intermountain Health’s latest Community Health Needs Assessment for Southern Nevada.
This Mental Health Awareness Month, the message is clear: our community needs more behavioral health support and compassion is the infrastructure for change.

Join us in honoring individuals who make a difference through kindness and compassion in our community ✨ The Compassionate City Awards celebrate members of our community who demonstrate outstanding compassion, service, and care for others.
Come be inspired and help us recognize those who are making Las Vegas a more compassionate city. No RSVP required.
It’s not just you. 💜 This world is a lot right now, constant noise, pressure to keep up, expectations from every direction, and barely any time to just be.
If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed, stressed, or like everything is piling up at once… that makes sense. A lot of people are carrying more than it looks like on the outside.
You’re not behind. You’re not the only one struggling. You’re a human trying to exist in a world that doesn’t always slow down.
Take a second. Unclench your shoulders. Breathe. You don’t have to figure everything out today.
Thank you @will_rucker for being YOU and taking the time to share your worldly wisdom with us! 🌎

Something special happened at Victoria Fertitta Middle School. 💜 @619iamlucha@maxxinedupri@wwebige sat down with our Teen Hope Network chairs for an honest conversation about stress, negative self-talk, and the weight we all carry.
@will_rucker led the conversation, teen leaders shared their own stories and something clicked. The middle schoolers in that room started opening up too, asking questions, finding pieces of themselves in every answer. That’s the magic of meeting people where they are.
Just in time for April Stress Awareness Month with Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, we’re here to remind you: no matter who you are, you are not alone in this.
Thank you @truemichaels & @djaravi for these incredible photos and your ongoing support!!!
