Did anyone watch Season 18 of America's Got Talent @agt ? Remember @lavenderdarcangelo and the golden buzzer moment? I do, because I'd already been talking with her for years before that happened. She found "The Infinite Jeff" long before AGT, reached out through Facebook, and I got to watch her journey to that stage in real time. She even bought a "What Would Jeff Do?" t-shirt from my website and wore it during the AGT experience. Pretty cool thing to witness. Lavender now volunteers with Audio Journal, a radio reading service — a network of about 100 radio stations across the US where volunteers narrate printed content for people with visual impairments and other disabilities that affect reading access. She recently interviewed me about my writing, and she'll be narrating The Infinite Jeff series for the journal so that people who can't access print have a way in to the story. Watch for the interview on their program Kaleidoscope. I'll drop the link when it's live. And stay tuned for her narration of The Infinite Jeff. If you haven't checked out Audio Journal yet, @audiojournalinc it's worth knowing about. / And if you haven't met Lavender, she's the real deal: talented, generous, and doing meaningful work.

What a wonderful afternoon! I spent time with a fantastic book club at a beautiful cabin in Antler, Oklahoma, where we dove deep into Parts 1 & 2 of "The Infinite Jeff". The discussion was rich with personal perspectives. Exactly the kind of conversation this book is meant to spark. And they surprised me with the perfect gift, a candle that reads "My weekend is fully booked." 🕯️📚 I'd say they know their audience. If your book club or group has read any books in "The Infinite Jeff" series and would like me to join your discussion, I'd love to be there in person or virtually. Just reach out!

Stopped by Comfort Cafe Smithville Texas in Smithville today, a donation-only restaurant inside the Serenitystar Recovery Resource Center. No prices on the menu. You order what you want and pay what you can. Every dollar goes to their recovery program. While I was there I met Terrance, a resident in the program. Interesting man with an interesting story. But what he wanted to talk about was how The Infinite Jeff touched him. That's why I write. If you're ever near Smithville, Comfort Cafe is worth the trip. The food is great and your meal directly supports people rebuilding their lives.

We have the right answers to the wrong questions. Douglas Adams' famous answer to life, the universe and everything was 42. The problem wasn't the answer. It was the question. Sound familiar?... /2026/03/01/we-have-the-right-answers-to-the-wrong-questions/

A quote a reader gave me after finishing part 4 of "The Infinite Jeff". Love when readers send me quotes that resonate with them. Do you have one?

Merry Christmas! Books are one of the best presents. I have a lot of people who give out copies of part one to introduce people to the series. For Christmas, I'm putting the 5 book bundle at a lower price on my website. 5 books for $40 ($8 each instead of $15) I only have stock for 4 bundles. But if you want a late Christmas present, I will send them when I get more. Order soon so I can get them out. /shop-books/

We’re all too Chicken - Blog post from my website. My chickens fascinate me. When I feed the five of them, I like to put the food in seven or eight piles and watch. There is always one or two of them that run around trying to control all the piles. There is plenty of food, but they still put a lot of energy into trying to stop the others from getting any of the food.... /2025/12/10/were-all-too-chicken/

The Big Shift - Blog post from my website. Changes we can’t stop are coming. What can we control? Originally published on Medium.com in July 7, 2021 My great-grandmother was born in 1875, ninety-nine years after the signing of the Declaration of Independence. As a child, we would visit her house, the house my mother grew up in. It was always an adventure.... /2025/12/09/the-big-shift/

Santa Clause stopped by my booth today at the Smithville Festival of Lights. He was excited to see me because he is reading part 4 and loving it. He wanted you to know "The Infinite Jeff" is officially approved by Santa Clause.
