Mid-journey check-in:
Education has always been my ticket out, but I had no idea it would be my passport around the world. I once believed what society taught me to think, that I have to pick one thing become good at that and live my life doing that on a somewhat repetitive cycle. Man was I brain washed. My thoughts on education have always been that you can never gain too much; and to know for yourself is better than to be told. With the way technology is misleading, books being removed from schools, and chat gpt becoming the brain for younger generations my passion to inform and lead in my own unique way is more emblazoned than ever. As I mature and pivot into “like real life” adulthood and evolve as a creative, I realize with more clarity than ever how my passions fluctuate, how I have a curiosity about certain things for my own reasons and how I’m called to the things that I am called to for me and my journey. In a system that perpetuates sameness, remain firm in your passions for self individualism. Allow yourself to pivot as many times as you need to fill like you’re living in the fullness of you. I can finally say I have a degree just for me, didn’t get it for survival mindset purposes, didn’t do it to make my mama proud (although everything I do makes her proud), but I did it to honor me and my younger creative self. The vision will come together one day, until then stay true to YOU!
You just got your 2nd Master’s Degree from Parson’s Bihh 😊 That lil man in the pic above is so proud of you, keep going!
