The first session I ever had in TO @the.ai and I got this fun little bass line rolling. Adrian laid the viola plucks over it and supplied the vocal chop when we felt like the track’s energy still wasn’t filled out. He left with a demo copy of the beat we’d made and I didn’t really think a whole lot about it past that evening.
Weeks later he messaged me saying an artist friend of his was really stoked about the track. The two of them along with @quinnymills had come up with a verse and a hook. @jessie.vickery and I ended up working on the track through the winter. We might have worked on a few other songs as well but I’m not gonna entirely spoil that surprise just yet.
