The rainy weather followed me over the North/South border and into the historic ancient capital of Hue. I only got to stay for the one night but saw some incredible old colonial French buildings before moving on to Hoi An 🇫🇷🌇 #travel #vietnam #hue

The rain didn't dampen anyone's spirits in this incredible rural landscape. Phong-Nha is home to the world's largest cave (that we know about) and the equally stunning Paradise Cave. Breathtaking underground cathedrals that anyone travelling through Central Vietnam should stick on their itinerary ☔🌫️💎

Just a few miles up from the packed Ha Long Bay, Bai Tu Long has all the natural views without the noise of the crowds #travel #vietnam #baitulongbay

A stone's throw from Hanoi, Ninh Binh is host to some of North Vietnam's most beautiful temples and natural wonders. This was a last minute diversion that I'm very glad I took! #travel #vietnam #ninhbinh

Full disclosure: I was not ready for Vietnam and I certainly wasn't ready for Hanoi as my first stop! One of the first places I've been to where you can really feel the atmosphere. It's thick with noise, smells and an unrelenting energy. It hit me like a tonne of bricks and I loved it 🧱 #travel #vietnam #hanoi

Well this is it, the last day in Japan. To say it was a rollercoaster was an understatement, but Hiroshima truly surprised me. A dynamic, bustling city with a tragic backstory but packed with quiet little natural oases, much like the rest of the country. Sayonara, Japan... It's been a blast 🫡 until next time... 👀 #travel #japan #hiroshima

This tiny little island can be explored entirely by bike in one day. There's so many amazing permanent art installations and I don't want to ruin them by even attempting to explain them. You have to go for yourself! 🎨 🎭#travel #japan #naoshima

Quick excursion to one of Japan's most iconic sights today: Himeji Castle. One of the few places you'll find an ancient castle still towering often modern skyscrapers 🏙️🏯#travel #japan #himeji

What a privilege to lodge with the Buddhist monks in this ancient mountain village. Certainly something I won't forget anytime soon 🏯🙏 #travel #japan #koyasan

Giving Kabukicho a run for its money is it's similarly insane Kansai cousin. Tourist trap or not, the neon lights and Cyberpunk aesthetic is undeniably impressive and a must-visit on any Osaka trip. #travel #japan #osaka

Tonnes of ground covered today with the help of an e-bike tour. I couldn't NOT go to the Nintendo museum whilst I was in the area too 😏 #travel #japan #kyoto
