"The eureka moment was realising that we didn't have to use the whole 360 image all of the time. We could pick and choose how much of the image we wanted and which part at any given moment."
Armed with an @insta360 camera and a grimy, relentless antagonist, @blink_ink filmmaker @will_k_wightman hurtled between actors at 70 shots per day, layering practical chaos with post-production keyframing to create sequences that simply shouldn't exist in his dark comedic horror short 'This Place is a Sh*thole', a film that will be far too relatable to anyone who's lived in a soul-destroyingly disgusting shared flat.

One of India’s New Year’s resolutions this year was to see more of the UK, and as you might imagine, I was more than happy to show her some my favourite corners of the Lake District and take a dip into some tarns and waterfalls.
I don’t usually share the short films on here these days, but I think we all did quite a good job on Small Plates, and so I think it deserves a place on the grid.
I shot this for the inimitable directing duo, @mayamariemaya and @lasagna_girl_ with @jaya.twill acting alongside many excellent scene partners - namely @bgalvin1 who covered himself in wine and pasta sauce for the cause.
I’m very grateful for @marcmalilay_ who came and focused, and @lulucolour_ , whose colour work transformed the film, as well as @theojamescordery and @verve_film for giving me as much kit as would fit in my Mini.
There are countless others to mention - @kaiwiiii for producing and @_tash_coleman ’s excellent production design.
Until the next.
I took some headshots of @jacobbellmore back in May for his debut album release, which was a good time and an interesting challenge - mainly just trying to find somewhere interesting to shoot in Fleet. Getting the colour rolls back was a surprise since, unbeknownst to me, Ania had shot some beautiful photos of Botswana before giving me the roll. I ruined her holiday photos, but it did make some cool double exposures over Jacob’s photos.
