In this case we were able to document two very special meetings.
@animationsinstitut student and puppet animator Bilal Yiğit İnal ( @bilalyigitinal ) had the chance to be the student guide for stop-motion legend Will Becher ( @will.i.animate ) and was able to take a closer look at @aardmananimations puppets for Wallace and Gromit.
Tanja Lange ( @tannerle ) from @m.a.r.k.13tm met Animationsinstitut's own Jan Pinkava during FMX 2025 and got an autograph for her little Remy, which she brought to the conference.

Academy Award nominee Will Becher (@will.i.animate ) („A Shaun the Sheep movie: Farmageddon“) has had a career spanning 20 years working as a writer, director, and stop-motion lead animator. His most recent credit is Supervising Animator on Aardman’s critically acclaimed film “Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl”. Will is currently Stop Motion Lead at the studio’s training facility, the Aardman Academy.

Super simple wire armatures - perfect for little clay characters.
I’ve added plastizote with hot glue for the pelvis chest and head core. Limbs are wrapped with white camera tape for added durability and something for the clay to stick to. The feet are made with some thin plastic sheeting which I cut to size then hot glued to the wire... I’ve drilled a tiny hole in each so I’ll be able to pin the feet down if required.
