[6/6] Enjoy. //explanation This folklore approach was born based on actual demographic data of Naga city which up to 48% population dominated by young generation and loved to the contemporary culture such as novel, film, comic, and so on. Just like a "propaganda", this folklore product will be branded in the nowaday style but preserving the origin principles from philippines-based people's story to explain future sustainable resilient city. The pursue is to "brain-wash" the young generation become more aware with climate issue, instead of creating a report planning book which will ended on the shelf of government office, and how to live along disaster resiliently for a long term. This both novel and radical approach will help the naga's folks survive from catastrophic typhoon and contribute to tackling the climate change, especially in the global boiling era. [4/6] //epilogue By decades, Naga achieve their ascension, a sustainable resilience city with more district to subsidize each other. Community concept being duplicate across city with three big ideas; 1) mitigation by rejuvenate lost space with cohousing, 2) Adaptation by ressemble urban mileau into agroforestry, and 3) Reinstate each neighborhood with cooperative-based classes to regenrate physical and mental of the community. Gemma now live in the Paradise Belt, a place where urban and rural met, a place where safe is sound, and a place where 'come back stronger' happen in hours, and a place where people around Naga find a shelter after the typhoon strikes. It create more facilities to strenghten resiliences against typhoon but coincide with preserve climate with sustainable architectural system. [2/6] //Prologue This Folklore Story begins when calamitous disaster hits really hard to Naga city. Gemma, a child born from the marriage of Hansel, a poor farmer, and Diwata, a god of nature, together lived with Narra seeds as her protection later. But years after, Diwata called by Apung Galura to continue her legacy as God of Nature, leave Hansel and Gemma alone. Unfortunately, Apung Galura's typhoon hits hansel and he leave Gemma alone. People believe that calamity is a way to cleanse the city from human greeds by Diwata's Mount, Apung Galura. Gemma was shocked and scared at the same time but immediately Narra seed transform into a huge size of tree trunk. Narra cheering up Gemma later and he ask her to rebuild the city in a Sustainable Resilience way, an ancient approach by Narra. //Interlude I Gemma learns so much from Narra, especially engaging community with Sustainable Resilience living, consume, and learning. She shift the paradigm of vicious cycle Egocentric into a wise Ecocentric, just like a sacred ascension for the city and its community. For Living, she teach people with co-sufficient housing where it could fulfill needs and co-healing after typhoon hit. For consume, she teach people to plants their food infront facade and upper roof, creating the circularity of production and consumption. For learning, she teach to be independent in a job chain, create more local occupation and nurture the young generation with Ecocentric mindset. [1/6] //Background. Naga city belongs to a municipality region in bicol area philippines which has mixed urban-rural morphology with Isarog mountain on the east. Naga strive with lots of catastrophe such as typhoon and flood. Agriculture become less profitable and most of the farmer convert their land into another function, even worse with the rapid urbanization. The underprivileged dominated the city become the most vulnurable population and suffer from hunger to life-death issue. On the era of global boiling, how Naga could coop with disaster and social change simultaneously ?
