Turning 49 feels less like arriving at a destination and more like standing on a ridge—able to look back at how far I’ve come, and forward at how much there still is to discover.
I’ve learned a lot along the way—about patience, resilience, love, and what really matters. But what’s even more meaningful is realizing I’m still learning. Still growing. Still evolving into someone better, wiser, and more grounded than I was before.
Getting here didn’t happen overnight. It took time, effort, mistakes, and moments that shaped me in ways I couldn’t have imagined back then. Every step, whether easy or hard, played a role in building the person I am today.
And I didn’t do it alone. My family and friends have been my foundation—lifting me up, keeping me grounded, and reminding me who I am when I needed it most. I carry a piece of each of you with me, always.
As I step into this next year, I do it with gratitude—for the lessons, the love, and the journey still unfolding.
