Cedar Ave: One of our favourite custom designs from 2023!
Located in South Lake Tahoe, this moody modern mountain style home is currently under construction. Foundation has officially been completed, however, due to the nature of this location, construction tends to halt at this time of year.
At any given time during winter, South Lake Tahoe can typically sit under 10-15 feet of snow making it extremely challenging for framing to begin. We can't wait for things to pick back up in Spring!

Rooted in Scandinavian Architecture. Elevated with Farmhouse appeal. Introducing a peak at our Nordic Farmhouse project - construction is now underway.
Anchored by vertical black siding, metal roofing, and Winter Point stone cladding, this home is built around the idea of contrast. Black to white. Black to warm timber. Bold forms, grounded materials. The palette is intentional, and every detail earns its place.
Where Nordic values strip away the unnecessary, the farmhouse language brings back the warmth. Warm wood tone soffit and generous glazing let the landscape in, while keeping the family grounded within. The result is both bold and deeply livable.
And the interior is no exception. We are proud to be working alongside @karlykristinadesign , whose interior design vision perfectly compliments the Architecture. While the exterior remains bold, the interior takes from the warmth and brings in the calm. A true Nordic, Rustic and Biophillic design.
This one has been a long time coming. Seeing it move into construction now makes it real.

We spent some time in Spain and Morocco over the past few weeks learning a lot about Architecture from another part of the world. Everything from medieval times to modern.
One of the main points that kept coming across in their design, was that everything had meaning. Even down to a single piece of tile that was shaped or coloured to represent something bigger. Whether for good or bad, it's a very inspiring way to look at design. Something I'll take with me here!
