How can we balance scientific rigor with compelling storytelling? 🔬
At Science in Storytelling 2026, we explored how to translate complex science into compelling stories without losing meaning.
Jonah Weston, Commissioning Editor at Channel 4, summed it up:
“There's a genuine skill in being able to take something incredibly complex and not simplify it to the point where it's meaningless, but simplified to the point where you've got [to] the essence.”
It’s not about dumbing down; it’s about distilling science into something audiences can truly connect with.
