Today's Something Wild trails at Hope Cove had had two runners just returned from New Zealand. Several first time trail runners and marathon virgins. Couldn't do thatters, who did just that, the birthday brothers, husband/wife podiumers and a dad/sons on the podium. Hi y'all. This is a plea to all my local friends (the Devonians).
We are looking for marshalls and a sweeper runner for our day of trail races at Hope Cove this Saturday ( May 9th). If anyone has teenage kids who fancy a bit of pocket money (if they're not doing the Ten Tors), or if you want a weekend of free camping in return for a minimum of two hours crewing. We can pay a small amount and potentially offer a sauna, or credits towards one of our events, camps or courses. Plus it might be an excuse to catch up at some point!
Sleep in cosy railway carriages. Run in the beautiful Dunnerdales. There are still places left, if you book now for May 22nd to 25th Bank Holiday weekend.
