Tunisia鈥檚 Khadija Krimi and USA鈥檚 Chris Bak have been named Athlete Role Models for Dakar 2026 by the IOC. Krimi is a three-time Olympian in the women鈥檚 lightweight double (Rio 2016, Tokyo 2020 and Paris 2024) and Bak is a four-time beach sprint world champion (CM1x in 2022, 2024 and 2025, and CMix4x+ in 2023).They will support and advise the young athletes taking part in Dakar, in beach sprint鈥檚 debut at an Olympic event.
