FRESH DIGITALS 💮🪻🌱🌼 Not everyone fairly new or new to Modelling understands what "Digitals" means when requested by an Agency .. For a while, I didn't! Yes, of course, they are Digital Photographs but it's a term for Model Photos with minimal, just base facial make-up, no nail polish, false eye-lashes...basically YOU, in black leggings and vest or skinny jeans, so that Casters can see YOU and judge what they might be able to turn you into 😱😆. And here are mine! From yesterday... A Little bit o' work And a LOT of "play".... An opportunity to visit @nationaltrust #snowshill in Gloucestershire, not far from pretty (and massively busy) #broadway. My parents visited here when I was in my late teens, no longer automatically holidaying with them then, I was regaled of all the new places they'd visited. I remember being told about Snowshill specifically because they weren't bowled over. "It's like a Museum" they said. And indeed it is. It is the former home of one Charles Wade. In polite terms, "a collector". In most women's eyes, I would say he was a "hoarder" 😱. He collected anything and everything and many different versions of one thing! He didn't marry until he was in his 60's and strangely enough, not long after, his "collection" was donated to the custodianship of the trust 🤣😉. I personally prefer to see the bones and natural fittings of a "home" so mine was a whistle stop tour of the house, although there are some magnificent items on display. My love, was the gardens, and "garden rooms". Mostly mellow greens, blues, purples, whites and yellows, with structural and textural plants. In a gorgeous setting with a cafe which has a delightful patio. I recommend a visit. The City we Live In by Colin Tyler... A sad but true account of how life can be these days... The video premiered on @youtube at 7pm yesterday. Give it a watch on a computer or laptop if you can for full effect. I love the moody style..and great work by everyone involved. I only got to meet crew, Colin and the few characters in my bit towards the end..really, I am not the snoofy woman portrayed but have experienced something similar on many occasions. I wish people were generally less inhibited and watched out more for people who might be struggling 🙏. I don't have the full crew and cast list currently but will update when I do. GAILAVANTING in Somerset 💖 Next day... The Great Garden Show at The Newt in Somerset 💚 I arrived early, about the 18th car in the car park. Around 250 cars by the time I left! So it felt like a private tour because many of those ahead of me were already having hot drinks, cake or a full English in the restaurant 🤗. The photos say it all really.... I loved the muted colours, I'm a blue and green girl at heart, says she who was sporting a retro orange and pink shirt and cream shorts today 🧡🩷🤍. Plants, textures, architectural shapes, no perfumes yet but that needs warmth later in the season. Warmth of stone colour in the buildings, contrasting with glass and steel in the restaurant, the snaking bridge walkway and even a Roman Villa exhibition that hopefully I'll get to see on another visit some time. Any gardeners amongst you? The shot of the Solomon's Seal and Euphorbia....these were about the first two plants I put in when I had my own cottage garden...Happy memories 💚 I found the gardening museum fascinating in the way it had been set out...and a footwear free zone...made the experience even more enjoyable.. Loved the "rooms" 😉 Joni Mitchell Cactus Tree was playing when I first arrived, never heard it before 💚 and live jazz singer by the time I left. Some brave souls were sitting on the grass but the WIND.. 🌬️🌬️🌬️🍃. I left with a fab looking Pork chop from the Butchery, a Golden Beetroot which I shall give the Mandolin treatment, a loaf of Apple Waste Sour Dough and a bar of Lions Mane Chocolate 😎 Back to real life now x

GAILAVANTING in DEVON 💚 Decision made 10am Friday, accommodation, bag packed and left at 11am 🤣. Meeting just outside Crediton followed by a delightful overnight stop at Corner Lodge, Lowton owned by Ruth and her hubbie. You can find it on @bookingcom ... Escape from civilisation (that's not a reflection on what's provided)💖. Saturday, early morning coffee on my own step (it's a dream I cling to for my everyday life 🤞) listening to the birds. A gorgeous pootle through surrounding hamlets, charming little discoveries such as the nature watch journal in a telephone box lending library. I spotted the Leveret (young hare) in my wing mirror as I was about to reverse away from a pretty church...🐰...clearly wanted to go to Church 🙏. Next was @catkinblooms in Winkleigh.. WHAT a gem 💖. Not only great food, great value and quality flowers (major brands take note!!!) but lovely views out back and seating out front. I love the fact that it WAS a garage ⛽🚗. I take after my late father, intrigued by a place name, so I visited Sampford Courtenay, Nymet Rowland (fab views from up there) and Zeal Monachorum before heading to... Burrow Farm Engine House..just somewhere I spotted on the map. It is the remains of the wheelhouse for a Mineral Mine and is breathtakingly beautiful. Ruined industrial remnant amongst sheep, lambs, yellow gorse and strong beech "wall" hedging made by letting the beech trees sprout below the boughs 💚. It is reached by a permissive path that runs along the old lineway. Making the most of the sunshine and a less than inspiring @Travelodge overnight near Ilmington, I walked to Donyatt Halt, another trailway, this time with a Wartime history. And ended the day climbing up to Herne Hill with fabulous views over the surrounding, now Somerset, countryside. I met a young lad who sat sketching...sadly out of work, a tale I've heard from qualified students recently (newly qualified Architect the other day 🥺). What he was drawing was astonishingly good...in the style of Manga characters. Sad times. As I was up higher and within view of the Welsh coast, my Maps systems wouldn't route me from where I actually was!!! 🤣

ROLEPLAY, COMEDY WRITING, AWARENESS & FEELING MY YEARS 🤣 Roleplay for @health.academy.online is always varied, unpredictable and rewarding. Today was particularly so. Names have been omitted to protect the guilty 😉. In response to one of my role conditions being related to the "call handler" and some suggestions of diagnosis coming in response, the phrase "I'm throwing arrows in the dark here" was inadvertently spoken out loud by the "call handler" 😱🤣🤣🤣. I nearly blew my cover 😭. On another scenario, I learnt a very important lesson about gender and how difficult it can be these days for our Medical teams NOT to inadvertently cause offence! As for "feeling my years"..to those of you of more mature years..Do you recall how we used to say things like, "It must be difficult for old people to cope with all the changes, decimalisation, weights and measures" etc. When I described a cut in my arm (don't panic, roleplay again) as half an inch deep, my "call handler" didn't take it up a gear 🥺. Turned out in review, they hadn't known how deep half an inch was 😱. NOW THEN all MATURE people out there, particularly the ladies, in respect of our casting applications when you're writing freestyle...... I wonder, if when we write our "vital statistics" in inches, how many of the young agency team members don't know what they are equivalent to! Are they going to bother to translate ? I certainly need to get with the programme 🤣 And if you've read this far, these beautiful flowers of Tree Lupin are along the cliff edges at Bournemouth where I blew the cobwebs out after work ☀️☀️☀️🩵 #roleplay #actress #commercialmodel

SOMETHING OTHER THAN YELLOW!!! #gailavanting Has anyone else been troubled by the Rapeseed Pollen this year? I rarely get Hay Fever and certainly not the extreme sort that some poor people suffer with. But THIS year!!! I've had constant headache for a whole week, feeling quite grotty and sometimes unusually tired. And it started with a windy day (Yeah! Which one 🤔🙄.. We've had a few haven't we..), and warm day when without thinking, I had the window open as I drove past many yellow fields on my travels around Gloucestershire and Wiltshire. I was very grateful to the hosts of a recent Airbnb stay who recommended a remedy for Hives..uses the same ingredient that helps Hay Fever sufferers 👌. So it was an absolute pleasure to see THIS beautiful field today..full of Phacelia (Scorpion Flower) Red Clover, Purple Veitch and others. The hum of Bees and Hoverflies was a real tonic 🐝 Sadly I now have to keep the car windows wound up until the yellow has finished 🙏 #hayfever #bees #pollen
