Mongolian Traditional Games
Mongolian traditional games are deeply rooted in nomadic culture, often utilizing sheep anklebones (shagai), stones, or mental skill to foster agility, strategy, and social bonding.
Key games include Shagai (ankle bone shooting, racing), the "Multicolored Turtle" puzzle, the strategic Khorol board game, and "Dembee" (a musical finger-guessing game).

POV: You journey through Eastern Mongolia where every road leads deeper into story.
From the first miles out of Ulaanbaatar to the endless steppe of Khentii Province, this journey unfolded through culture, history, and raw nature. Ancient monuments, hidden valleys, nomadic hospitality, and the land believed to be the birthplace of Genghis Khan.
We crossed rivers, forests, and open plains. Faced wind, and even snow along the way. Visited places where history lives quietly, and where Mongolia feels most real.

Mongolia: A Taste of Timeless Summer
Summer in Mongolia is a season of reset, open landscapes, and simple living. It is a time when daily life moves with nature and traditional foods take center stage.
Aaruul (sun-dried curd) and airag (fermented mare’s milk) are central to nomadic life, made and enjoyed across the steppe, while during the Naadam Festival, people gather to share khuushuur, enjoying food deeply tied to the season.

A Living Culture of the North
1. The children of the Red-Faced Tsaatan (reindeer herder) family are simply adorable!
2. Interestingly, reindeer are incredibly gentle animals.
3. Even the Tsaatan family’s dog has its own little shelter.
4. Dinner was homemade buuz, filled with fresh reindeer meat.
5. And yes—we got to see the Northern Lights in the taiga!
Experience Khuvsgul Ice Lake for a chance to meet reindeer herders and get up close with the reindeer.
Drop “snow” in the comments, and we’ll share the full itinerary.
