Wow! How lucky are we! We were nominated for 2 awards at the @hithistleawards this year. These were the Best Unique Stay and Self Catered; and also the Innovation Award.
Up against strong competition we came home being the winner of the Innovation Award and now go forward to the National awards in Glasgow!
Thank you so much for choosing us as the winners - it is a special award and we feel proud to be able to show how working Scottish farms can diversify and grow with sustainable tourism complimenting the business.
A massive thank you also goes out to all our family and our small, local team that work so hard to keep WildLuing going from strength to strength ā„ļø
Well done to all who entered the awards and particular congratulations go to our other local businesses @ninthwaverestaurantmull , @ardtornaluxurybandb and @islay_sea_adventures š„³

Sometimes I pause and think about how lucky I am to call this my work š¤
To hold space for people, to create these retreats, and to witness everyone arrive exactly as they are Tired, open, hopeful, needing rest, connection, or simply a moment to breathe. Thereās something really special about watching people slowly settle in.
āØSeeing new friendships form, hearing laughter around the table, sharing meals, movement, conversations, quiet moments, and watching everyone soften into the experience in their own way. I donāt think Iāll ever stop feeling grateful for it.
These retreats ask a lot behind the scenes, but every time I see people enjoying the space, feeling more present, more rested, more themselves again. It reminds me why I love doing this so much.
Very grateful for every person who trusts me enough to join these experiences.
āØIt truly means more than I can put into words šæ

Some moments from our Scotland retreat that felt quiet in the best way š¤
Slow mornings, shared meals, conversations in between, deep breaths, a lot of laughter, and little moments that somehow stay with you long after.
I think thatās what I love most about retreats.āØNot just the big experiences, but the simple parts too. The space to slow down, to soften a little, and to feel more present again.
Scotland gave us so much space for that.āØTo pause, breathe deeper, reconnect, and just enjoy being exactly where we were.
Itās always a reminder that we donāt need much sometimes.āØJust good company, nature, movement, rest, and a little more time to actually be where we are.
Really grateful for these moments and the people who shared them šæ

A little glimpse of the journey to Wild Luing for our Scotland retreat š¤
You cross the Atlantic Bridge, then take a ferry over to the island and somehow, even getting there already feels like part of the retreat itself.
Quiet roads, beautiful views, slower moments, it all feels so grounding.
Seeing the rooms and the space come together is making everything feel very real now, and Iām genuinely so excited to share this experience with everyone joining us šæ

Introducingā¦Luing!
What an incredible few days I spent at @wildluing (ad) āļø the sunshine didnāt let up the whole time we were there.
Owners, Jack and Emily, have created something SO special. The WildSuites are all thoughtfully designed, have the most comfiest beds + positioned so you have privacy and awe-inspiring views of Torsa Bay.
We also saw an otter mama and her baby foraging while relaxing in the sauna, and a white-tailed eagle soar across the skyline. I live for moments like this.
ACTIVITIES + THINGS I DID
āµļøWildlife boat tour with @sealifeadventures - we saw White-Tailed Eagles, seals, shags, cormorants + much more
š¬ Visit the Atlantic Island Centre to learn about the islands history

Save for your next Scotland tripšØ
We canāt believe people travel to Scotland and completely miss thisā¦
If you visit @wildluing you will travel across Clachan bridge also known as the āBridge over the Atlanticā on the neighbouring Isle of Seil. This small bridge connects Seil to the mainland.
For a short time each year the bridge is covered in tiny pink and purple Fairy Foxgloves adorning it with bright colour.
It is well worth stopping here and whilst you do make sure to pop in to the highly recommended @tighantruish for a pint or delicious meal lovingly prepared by @chefwilliamrocks and his talented team.
