Winners! šŸ¾ Wow! How lucky are we! We were nominated for 2 awards at the @hithistleawards this year. These were the Best Unique Stay and Self Catered; and also the Innovation Award. Up against strong competition we came home being the winner of the Innovation Award and now go forward to the National awards in Glasgow! Thank you so much for choosing us as the winners - it is a special award and we feel proud to be able to show how working Scottish farms can diversify and grow with sustainable tourism complimenting the business. A massive thank you also goes out to all our family and our small, local team that work so hard to keep WildLuing going from strength to strength ā™„ļø Well done to all who entered the awards and particular congratulations go to our other local businesses @ninthwaverestaurantmull , @ardtornaluxurybandb and @islay_sea_adventures 🄳 Jack, Archie and Emily #highlandsandislands #thistleawards #visitscotland Thistle Awards | Scottish island | Regional Awards | Highlands and Islands Awards | Visit Scotland | Tourism | Diversifying | Farm | Scotland travel

A little bit about us! WildLuing is run by Jack and Emily Cadzow and Archie Cadzow. WildLuing has been a family project from the start - a dream in lockdown 2021 and a reality come Spring 2023. We are so excited to share our beautiful, luxurious WildSuites with the world as a self catering option. The Isle of Luing is a hidden gem in the Inner Hebrides, Scotland- quick get ahead of the crowd and book your stay! Each WildSuite was hand built on the island, designed by Jack and Archie; with the interior design finished by Emily and mother-in-law Tooti. The Observatory also designed by the lads is a stunning building offering exquisite views over Torsa Bay and the perfect location for a feast, family gathering or a retreat. Get in touch - [email protected] P.S WildWoofs welcome as we are dog friendly 🐶 #wildluing #luing #slateislands #westcoast #innerhebrides #argyll #wildaboutargyll #visitscotland #luxury #adventure #wildlifewatching #island #scotland #scottishisland #dogfriendly #selfcatering #scotlandexplore #scotlandtravel #scotlandtrip #scottishvacation #scottishholiday #scottishweekendaway #weekendaway #oban

Sometimes I pause and think about how lucky I am to call this my work šŸ¤ To hold space for people, to create these retreats, and to witness everyone arrive exactly as they are Tired, open, hopeful, needing rest, connection, or simply a moment to breathe. There’s something really special about watching people slowly settle in.
Seeing new friendships form, hearing laughter around the table, sharing meals, movement, conversations, quiet moments, and watching everyone soften into the experience in their own way. I don’t think I’ll ever stop feeling grateful for it. These retreats ask a lot behind the scenes, but every time I see people enjoying the space, feeling more present, more rested, more themselves again. It reminds me why I love doing this so much. Very grateful for every person who trusts me enough to join these experiences.
It truly means more than I can put into words 🌿 #ScotlandRetreat #YogaRetreatExperience #IntentionalLiving #SlowLivingMoments #WellnessRetreat

Some moments from our Scotland retreat that felt quiet in the best way šŸ¤ Slow mornings, shared meals, conversations in between, deep breaths, a lot of laughter, and little moments that somehow stay with you long after. I think that’s what I love most about retreats.
Not just the big experiences, but the simple parts too. The space to slow down, to soften a little, and to feel more present again. Scotland gave us so much space for that.
To pause, breathe deeper, reconnect, and just enjoy being exactly where we were. It’s always a reminder that we don’t need much sometimes.
Just good company, nature, movement, rest, and a little more time to actually be where we are. Really grateful for these moments and the people who shared them 🌿 #ScotlandRetreat #YogaRetreatExperience #SlowLivingMoments #MindfulTravel #RetreatLife

A little glimpse of the journey to Wild Luing for our Scotland retreat šŸ¤ You cross the Atlantic Bridge, then take a ferry over to the island and somehow, even getting there already feels like part of the retreat itself. Quiet roads, beautiful views, slower moments, it all feels so grounding. Seeing the rooms and the space come together is making everything feel very real now, and I’m genuinely so excited to share this experience with everyone joining us 🌿 #ScotlandRetreat #WildLuing #YogaRetreat #SlowLiving #RetreatJourney

Guess the Scottish island šŸ¤”šŸļø Introducing…Luing! What an incredible few days I spent at @wildluing (ad) ā˜€ļø the sunshine didn’t let up the whole time we were there. Owners, Jack and Emily, have created something SO special. The WildSuites are all thoughtfully designed, have the most comfiest beds + positioned so you have privacy and awe-inspiring views of Torsa Bay. We also saw an otter mama and her baby foraging while relaxing in the sauna, and a white-tailed eagle soar across the skyline. I live for moments like this. ACTIVITIES + THINGS I DID ā›µļøWildlife boat tour with @sealifeadventures - we saw White-Tailed Eagles, seals, shags, cormorants + much more 🐬 Visit the Atlantic Island Centre to learn about the islands history šŸ›¶ See the Viking boat carvings at Kilchattan Old Parish Church 🐮 Admire Luing cattle free grazing on the island- they are a mix of Highland cows and Beef Shorthorn! šŸļø Explore neighbouring islands Seil and Easdale (reels on these islands coming shortly) 🄃 Thanks @ncnean for the brilliant whisky tasting! GETTING THERE šŸš— 30 mins from Oban, drive to Cuan Ferry + get the ferry across (cars welcome on the ferry) 🚌 @westcoastbuses operate a bus to the North Cuan Ferry Terminal ā›“ļø Ferry runs every 30 mins ACCOMMODATION DETAILS šŸ›Œ I spent 2 nights at @wildluing in the Fladda WildSuite šŸ½ļø Self-catering šŸ§‘ā€šŸ§‘ā€šŸ§’ Family-friendly 🐶 Dog-friendly ā™æļø Fully accessible suites available Price: Ā£200 per night (how good is that though?! Save for your next Scotland trip🚨 We can’t believe people travel to Scotland and completely miss this… If you visit @wildluing you will travel across Clachan bridge also known as the ā€˜Bridge over the Atlantic’ on the neighbouring Isle of Seil. This small bridge connects Seil to the mainland. For a short time each year the bridge is covered in tiny pink and purple Fairy Foxgloves adorning it with bright colour. It is well worth stopping here and whilst you do make sure to pop in to the highly recommended @tighantruish for a pint or delicious meal lovingly prepared by @chefwilliamrocks and his talented team. #visitscotland #scotlandexplore #travelscotland

You’re going to want to save this one for later. šŸ™Œ Welcome to Luing, an easily accessible yet still remote-feeling island in the Inner Hebrides of Scotland. A place to relax, explore, and just be. Thanks to @sealifeadventures for the boat trip, highly recommend adding it to your visit! Use code SONJA10 for 10% off your stay at @wildluing (gifted). And when you’re used to Skye prices, it’s already a steal! Enjoy the sauna, hopefully you’ll have otters for company 🄰🦦.
