After many months of figuring out the moves, linking sequences, working on efficiency, micro shakes, breathing pace, fighting on both cruxes... It finally happened!
This route almost broke me as i fell TWICE after the second crux on the easier part and ruining the send 😂

@nareg52 on Nothing in Excess, one of the toughest but most beautiful route I have ever tried in Gerges Massoud, Tannourine el Tahta.
So far there's at least four different betas for the crux 🤣

Caution Attracts Ruin 5.12a/7a+ :)))
Had a great time projecting this one, and a bit of a terrible time, and then a great time again when I sent 😆
By my 5th burn on Caution I had it all worked out except for one sequence that I just kept messing up. It took 5 more attempts and a lot more effort to get from 99% to 100% but it feels good to make it happen! happy my friends didn’t let me rage quit and made me try one last time before we left the crag🙂↕️
And psyched that my first 5.12 was in Tannourine. Couldn’t have done it without the support of lebanon’s strongest coolest crushers thank u all sm 🤠🫵🏽 (i think i literally got beta from half the crag to make this happen lol it really takes a village)
