There’s something really special about watching a room full of people connected by a hobby they love. Today’s Cards & Coffee event was honestly everything we hoped it would be and more. Trades happening at every table, people showing off collections, kids learning about the hobby for the first time, longtime collectors helping newcomers, and conversations happening between complete strangers like they’d known each other for years. That’s the kind of community this hobby creates at its best.
One of the biggest reasons we wanted to host events like this at In Your Wildest Dreams is because hobbies like Pokémon, sports cards, One Piece, Magic, and gaming have always been about more than just cardboard. For a lot of us, these hobbies are tied to memories, friendships, childhood, family, and finding a place where you belong. Seeing that come to life inside our store means a lot to me personally.
As someone who grew up loving this stuff, being able to now create a safe, welcoming space where people can gather, trade, laugh, learn, and just enjoy the hobby together is something I never take for granted. Today wasn’t about selling tables or making transactions. It was about community. And seeing so many people show up to support that vision was honestly incredible.
Thank you to everyone who came out, brought binders, grabbed coffee, traded cards, shared stories, and helped make today what it was. This is exactly why we do what we do.

At In Your Wildest Dreams, we’re especially grateful for the amazing mothers who help make this place what it is every single day. From our vendors and consignors to the customers who support local small businesses, so much of this store is built on the hard work, creativity, and love of moms in our community.
But most importantly, to our staff. Our team is made up of some truly incredible mothers, and without their dedication, care, patience, and heart, this store simply wouldn’t run the way it does. They pour that same love they give their families into this business every day, and we are beyond thankful for them.
