Crafted for tailored all-day comfort in creative work environments—whether from home or at the office, the SBG 197 R Swivel Chair begins with the same seat and backrest as Eiermann’s classic SE 68 and adds a full suite of advanced ergonomic functions, pared back to their cleanest expression. Set on a Brussels swivel frame with five double castors and featuring a unique floating tilt mechanism, the chair was made with full-fit personalisation in mind. SBG 197 R can be optionally customised with upholstery or armrests, and is available with soft or hard castors, suitable for solid wood flooring or carpet respectively. Please specify your preference when ordering. Photos: @fabianfrinzel @tilgnerkempf

The value of our products is best experienced through everyday, long-term use. Our furniture is consistently designed for durability—thoughtfully engineered, robustly crafted, and individually configurable. Aesthetics, function, and material quality come together to create pieces that shape spaces, embody permanence, and adapt to changing living and working environments. In this way, culturally relevant objects emerge that foster identity, convey stories, and connect past and present. Chairs don’t just fill a space—they bring it to life. A splash of colour can transform an ordinary room into something vibrant, expressive, and full of personality. Whether it’s a bold statement piece or a soft pop of pastel, colorful chairs invite joy, warmth and creativity into your surroundings. Conceived to offer a trusted seating companion in the home or office, the versatile S 38/S1 Stackable Stool has become prized for its suite of complementary qualities: compact and lightweight, yet sturdy and comfortable. Immediately recognisable thanks to its four slender legs, each affixed to the solid wood seat by a smooth-topped screw, the enduringly simple form of S 38/S1 ensures its suitability for myriad occasions—as an everyday stool in its own right, or stacked away in sets of up to ten for simple storage, ready to accommodate a spontaneous guest or two at the dinner table. The SE 68 was the first chair model in Germany to combine a tubular steel frame with a seat and backrest made of moulded wood. Its organically shaped seat makes the chair exceptionally comfortable, while its iconic appearance has established it as an instantly recognisable mid-century design icon.
