Working on the final piece of my clouds EP today.
This is the early stages of my new piece but I’m happy with the concept, key and chords and I’m finalising the general structure before recording a demo.
Here, I want to create something optimistic and relaxing with a sense of relief. Something we could all do with right now.
Going for a gentle tempo with warm 7th chords with a melody based around a pentatonic scale. Want to illustrate the feeling of the sun poking through low clouds and portray those warm bright moments when finally the sun breaks through, if just for a moment.
