I had the pleasure yet again to be chosen to compete in my teams in-house battles 7 to smoke which is always a true honour to be considered. I went in with so many doubts on this day, I wasn’t confident that I could top what I was able to last year with the last D.A.C at Dawn battles that we had. I really had no confidence in myself and during my Prelim I felt so a scattered I was fully prepared to sit down after that and watch the battles take place only for my name to be called up for the top 8 line up. I was taken aback yet again and entirely shocked that I was chosen. The judges saw something in me that I didn’t see in myself. I won 1 round during these 7 to smoke rounds and the line up this time was very challenging, I got to have about 4 rounds in total until we had our final winner and even though I didn’t win this round this was by far in my own opinion my best round. I stopped caring and just started moving fixated on my target which was Qudus who was smiling with such support the whole way through my round while I was there mean mugging him 😂 if you don’t know but Qudus is just a beast and for that reason I had to bring out more of my wild side. I thoroughly enjoyed going against him the most.
I’m still so grateful that I was able to get through and prove myself wrong in some sense that I have grown in my abilities. I’m just grateful overall that D.A.C provides a space like this where we can compete with one another and still support each other in that same breath. No matter what happens at the next battle whether I get through or not I’ll have more faith in myself to be proud that I can even put myself forward in that way.

Made this choreo I wanna say at least a month ago now, I had only heard the song around that time also when I was looking for a nice vibe to use on my insta story and came across this. The way it was so smooth and sexy I knew I wanted this ti be my next choreo to share on my page. 9/10 when it comes to Hmlss music the heels community (which I am also a part of)
Love to tackle his songs and use them in the most feminine way which I love but when choreographing to this all I could think about is how Fuck boi esc it sounds and I ran with it. I really wanted to give off the same energy and vibe the song was giving almost personifying it. The vibe is very much smooth, masculine yet sexy but also nonchalant. Once it was made I had a few people in mind I knew would jell really well with the vibe and movement of this piece so I hit them up. Thankfully they were down and willing to have a small little session where I taught them the choreo to put my choreo on other bodies that just get the exact intention of this piece and this was the outcome.

New year, same mindset just upped the level, coming in strong with the ruthless energy for this one ! As you can tell I went full masc for for choreo which is definitely a complete 180 from my last choreo. I really wanted to show off a bit more of my boyish side that sits confidence but also has a little cocky attitude. I actually originally created this choreo with myself and someone else in mind who I was meant to sesh out this choreo with but due to unfortunate circumstances the person I intented to have be a part of this was unable to do it again…. And before you ask “oh why didn’t you get someone else to do it with you?” When I choreograph with a particular person in mind it’s basically like choreo I made for them to share and also bond with, to just replace with a different person in my eyes would be disrespectful. The other choreos I’ve made with only myself in mind and whoever I thought would vibe well came afterwards but with this choreo it was the other way round. Anyways with that being said I still wanted to get my choreo out there so as one does I continued with my plan and did it solo. It felt like the odds were against me today with filming, so many things went wrong, I would list them all but we naught be here forever. I left the studio not feeling that great about this piece anymore and felt quite discouraged but after editing and putting all the pieces I liked together to make this post more enjoyable for myself and others I’ve come to like it again, not as much as when I first choreographed it but enough for me to showcase to you all !
This is just the start, more choreos to come ! 🐺🫶🏾💙

I may not have won but I did break our current champions @ky_.smith streak before he could get the win on all of us temporarily which for me was a personal win as I look up to Kyram allot we may have trained together to a year but that was my first time going up against him and for the last 6 people that he went against he didn’t hold back so I knew I had to come through and match his energy bringing out that Wild Wolf energy. It was such an honour to even make it to the top 8 this time round so I gave it all I had and won against someone that felt impossible to win against. I even surprisingly had a little winning streak of my own for a while before losing against @0h.j0sh20 being tapped out of commission after that because 7 to Smoke is no joke.
I really hold D.A.C to such a high regard, I never thought I would see myself be so free and ruthless with my freestyle in a way that allowed me to just be myself but D.A.C gave me that space to grow and challenge myself, to reinvent myself time and time again and ultimately become a beast when pushed beyond my limits, I love this space and so grateful to be a part of it. Biggest thanks goes to our leader and mentor @daishu_2k for always challenging us in ways that have evolve into the dancers we wanna be 💙🐺⚔️💜

My 2025 Wrapped Dancer Edition ✨🐺 when I wasn’t working I practically lived at the studio, at training, rehearsals and when I wasn’t at the studio I was on stage all while maintaining a work life and social life 😮💨
I truly lived as a Teaching Assistant and after school club leader by day and full time dancer by night and every other time in between. This year was definitely a tough one and I’m sure I can say that it’s been tough for all of us. At the start of 2025 I was a part of 4 crews training 12 hours a week and then some for when I had rehearsals plus working full time. Outside of that my personal life the year was a mental and emotional rollercoaster and that’s putting it nicely. Halfway through the year I cut down on the amount of training crews I was in but I still had soo much going on as there was no stop rehearsals and none stop shows that I was a part of. As tough as this year as been and as happy as I am to say goodbye to it I will never forget the moments that I smiled with people that I enjoyed the company of to which that I spent soo much time around. I am so grateful for each and every opportunity I’ve gotten this year in my dance life, it’s allowed me to achieve soo much and reach higher heights.
There were allot of hardships this year tha led me to be so mentally exhausted which I didn’t expect to go through but I didn’t give up on myself and still pushed through to the other side. Coming to the end of the year has been the hardest in a long while but I know I’ve been through worse so just like a storm eventually the sky will clear and we will see sunnier days.
Thank you to everyone who made 2025 a year still worth remembering for will the right reasons regardless of the negative parts that took place. Here’s to makes a better year out of 2026 🐺✨💙🫶🏾

Wow wow wow! what a night !
This was the first time we had the whole company Advanced and Intermediate all in one room together and what a pleasure it was to share the space together in this way. There was a fire lit under everyone. There was soo much raw talent that was shared and exchanged in the space and it was an honour to be one of the people chosen to make it passed prelims. I wasn’t expecting to get far but to my surprise I made it all the way to the semi finals in the top 4. As someone who has never really been afraid of freestyle and trained with a team outside of perspective for over a year doing it I always went in with never underestimating my opponent because everyone has strengths that can over power you in a battle and should never know what to expect so to get as far as I did was an absolute honour 🙏🏾. This meant a lot to me as in the first season of Perspective when we had our very first in-house battle I wasn’t able to compete due to my health however I was able to witness all my peers give it there all and I wanted so bad to be a part of that, so going into season 2 and the second in-house battle I gave it my all each time because I had nothing holding me back this time round. I may not had made it to the finals however I felt like I won in my book by getting as far as I did. I feel like I did myself proud and the people who have given me soo much knowledge on freestyle and battles in and outside of the perspective space.
Grateful to @_knsworld_ and @mikeyureta for always providing us a safe space that we can be challenged in, motivated and inspired by the people who hold it. Thank you for always making perspective feel like home 🫶🏾✨

Made this sweet little dance a couple of weeks ago when I first started listening to Solo B’s newest album and became hooked on this song. This vibe is definitely more on the feminine side with subtle hints of flirtation. When I was recording this I tried to go full out which for me is big external movement and 100% energy in areas that need it as I now has the space to do so (since I choreographed this in my kitchen) but when looking back at the footage something seemed off, the choreo didn’t look how I imagined and things seemed a little stiff. So I went back and did it a few times with half the energy but still 100% smoothness and that’s when I realised I created a dance that’s meant to be executed more internally rather than externally however still keeping the intention of the choreo being smooth and gooey.
This also isn’t a crazy choreo either, like most of my choreos it sits on the lyrics while catching bits of the musicality here and there. It’s more about portraying subtle hints of cheeky flirtation throughout the dance (nothing too overtly sexual or seductive but catches the right amount of sensuality to intrigued the audience) there is also a natural flow that comes with this choreo that is easily obtainable once you clock the flow of the lyrics. I could definitely see myself developing this choreo into a partner work one as it does have the room for it however for now this what I have.

As a way of getting back into my choreo bag once again I made this choreography in the space of one night, I have a tendency to start choreography make a couple of 8s and take a extended break going back it if I’m motivated to do so which normally doesn’t happen that often. To get myself out of that habit I allowed myself to take a break but to still get back to making choreography that same day not going to sleep till I had something decently solid to work with or work around. I tend to make most of my choreos in the kitchen and so I didn’t leave till I was done making something I was pleased with and could work on in a better spacious environment. I didn’t leave the kitchen till 4 am 😅 (thank god I didn’t have work the next day)
The whole feel of this choreo is meant to give off Fuck Boi vibes but for women it sits in the sweet spot for me at least of the right amount of masc and fem but in a dominant way. The choreography rides the waves of the lyrics mainly so I wanted each move to give off that same feeling and intention with how Justin was singing the song. If you didn’t already know I grew up listening to late 90’s - early 2000’s R&B so this is a place where I thrive because of the feeling it gives me and the sense of nostalgia I have anytime I revisit a song from around that era.
This choreo sesh was meant to consist of 4 people including myself unfortunately things don’t always go to plan however I have to give a massive thank you to my girl @crystalchigbolu for still making time on a Wednesday evening to learning my choreography ❤️🔥 we had our fun and it won’t me the last time I call her up for a likkle demo of my choreo 🫶🏾✨

Trying to get back into going to classes again and not just dancing in my training spaces/crews and with that my sis @sarahadrianne.x invited me to come with her to a class that she attends regularly. I am so glad she did as I’ve been needing a little escape from reality, an escape it was.
This class was so challenging in many ways, it’s demeanour gives off very smooth yet nonchalant with a lot of contained energy which naturally contrasts my big, intense impactful movement. What I loved about this choreography is how flowing it was but what made the choreo difficult was the pathways in order to execute the choreo with the right intention. Even thought I struggled, and I struggle a lot I really enjoyed the learning process and even though I was thrown in the deep end blindfolded as I was being taught by someone I didn’t know nor how they taught I didn’t drown I still somehow found the courage to make it to the surface even if it took a while, that also goes to Dan making the environment feel safe.
Thank you @_danpark for an amazing class will definitely be back at some point 🫶🏾✨

This has been a long time coming but I finally went to my first magic Mike class. Those of you may know that this isn’t my first time dancing like this as I had to do a magic Mike inspired dance for a performance a year ago however I had never taken a class for it. I had been wanting to go to Lucie’s Magic Mike workshops for as long as I’ve known her which has been over 2 years, unfortunately whenever she had her workshops was always on a day when I wasn’t available. I did make a promise to her however that I would eventually make it to her class and as promised I kept my word it just took some time. Now this piece may not have involved many tricks like most of her magic Mike chores however it was a hell of a workout. Using your whole body to pull off each movement and only having a certain about of time to get to each position or placement in order to execute the choreography correctly and on time was a challenge but an enjoyable one.
Thank you for such a fun class Lucie, this won’t be the last time I attend one of your workshops 🫶🏾✨❤️🔥
