#GDC is always one of the biggest highlights of every year for me, and #gdc2026 was no different. This was my first full year as an advisory board member, working "behind the camera" to select and support the lecturers and panelists, and I'm so happy with how it turned out! Speakers and attendees from around the world came together for a week of learning, inspiration and celebration of game dev, even in the midst of troubling times in both the industry and worldwide. So I'm incredibly grateful for everyone I got to hang with throughout the week!
Fun highlights: Bringing together local friends and international devs for a pre-GDC meetup, catching up with fellow Lucasarts vets, FINALLY having time to visit the fantastic Black In Gaming Festival, watching Becky Allen turn her Lifetime Achievement Award speech into an improvised crowd-piece, meeting @theflightmusic (Alien Isolation and 007 First Light composers) and @carson_.music (Helldivers fan film composer) in person, catching a ride to the Dolby party in @rajramayya 's sick convertible, and jamming with @wateman25 , @pavgekko and @simonlandryms at a random bar at the end of the week!
Got this in the mail! Again, such an honor to be recognized by @_the_scl , and I'll always be grateful to @ubisoftmassive for the opportunity to work on #starwarsoutlaws !
And now, a man who needs no introduction - Wilbert Roget, II @wilbert.roget !
Wilbert is a veteran composer in the video game industry; his prestigious list of titles includes Helldivers 2, Mortal Kombat 11, Call of Duty: WWII, Star Wars: Vader Immortal, Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris, Star Wars: The Old Republic, Destiny 2: Forsaken, Guild Wars 2: Path of Fire, Anew: The Distant Light, and several other indie and AAA titles. His scores have earned nearly a dozen awards and nominations from the Game Audio Network Guild, Academy of Arts and Sciences (DICE Awards), ASCAP Composers Choice Awards, and others.

Came back to LA for @_the_scl Awards, which once again was a tremendous highlight of my year - though this time they really outdid themselves with incredible music performances, featuring Kevin Bacon (!) singing Footloose and BILL CONTI (!!!) conducting his original theme to Rocky!!
Such an honor to be nominated for Best Interactive Score, and once again huge congratulations to @a.wintory on his win for Sword of the Sea! The true highlight of course was honoring @ludwiggoransson for his decades of collaboration with filmmaker Ryan Coogler, including Black Panther and the recent masterpiece Sinners. We're really blessed to be a part of the scoring community, huge thanks again to the SCL for such an unforgettable event!
Absolutely gorgeous #deathstranding #gamemusic concert this week in Seattle!! Great hanging with the amazing vocalists and the *other* brilliant Swedish composer and songwriter named Ludvig 😆
#grammy post!! Words can't express how grateful I am to have attended the Grammy's for a second time, now for #helldivers2 and the #StarWarsOutlaws DLC album. It was a full weekend of activities, starting with the beautiful @ascap nominees lunch and #grammys2026 nominees reception, followed by the Premiere ceremony, the telecast, and the afterparties - wherein I finally met two musicians I've looked up to for years, @ludwiggoransson and @kolusola !!
Hugest congratulations to @a.wintory on winning the Grammy for Best Score Soundtrack for Video Games, and @crosenmusic on winning for Best Arrangement!!
