The hairline really is a wig maker’s signature.
Every single one is different, which is exactly what makes it interesting to me.
Some are softer, some stronger, some more irregular and imperfect in just the right way. And figuring out how to recreate that naturally by ventilating one hair at a time is probably the most artistic part of wig making for me.

Always brush your wig from the ends up — never from the top down.
If you start at the top and hit a knot, you’re just tightening it and making it harder to get out.
Starting at the ends lets you gently work through tangles without putting unnecessary tension on the hair or the knots.
It’s a small habit, but it makes a big difference in how long your wig lasts.

A blonde custom piece with a 360 lace hairline — meaning lace not just in the front, but also at the nape.
Normally I only do a lace front, but this client wanted to wear her hair up in a high ponytail, so we designed it accordingly.
