It’s a dream come true, even though it can also be a nerve-wrecking journey. I believe in patience and continuity. If I can make it, so can you. Thank you, everybody, for being such a wonderfully positive bunch of people here.
The first ten weeks of the year are over and these are the result of my project "52 weeks of Fonsi in black and white". I have many more images, but these were my favourites. Why black and white? I've always been a fan of monochromatic images. I love the emotional depth and timeless feel of black and white photography. That’s why, unlike in my commercial work, I often shoot in monochrome when taking photos purely for my own joy.
For me, it’s all about capturing the emotions, the comfort he gives me, and the love I have for this sometimes nerve-wrecking little maniac, as well as showing his unique elegance, grace, and humour. I aim to weave a bit of storytelling into each shot while keeping my workflow simple: I do as little editing as possible, just correcting minor flaws, to spend less time at the computer and more time with Alfonso.
Yes, I photograph cats, too. Haven't shared any of my cat images in a while. I do have a designated account for my cat photography, but I'm a bit lazy when it comes to posting on more than one account. So, here you go. Ten gorgeous cats. How wonderful is this? There’s a whole photo exhibition about dogs and cats at the Belluno Photo Festival in Italy and some of my images are also at display.

Feeling very lucky to have the cutest little muse! While sighthounds aren't always the most patient models, especially compared to eager breeds like Border Collies or Vizslas, Alfonso is a dream to photograph. The secret? High-value rewards and keeping the sessions to just a few seconds before letting him do his own thing again.
Sorry for being a bit quiet lately, but I'm now back from a fantastic trip to Scotland where we photographed dogs in stunning landscapes with wonderful people. But as much as I love my job, there's nothing better than coming home to a gorgeous face like this. Missed this little maniac terribly. Will post more again from now on. Promised.
You know how we take pictures of things we love so we can keep them forever? It’s like giving a big hug to a memory. When a picture is just black and white, it’s like a quiet whisper. Without all the bright colors, you can see the feelings much better. It’s a little bit like a rainy afternoon inside, it feels a tiny bit sad, but also very peaceful and beautiful.
