THE WIEN MASTERCLASS IS TODAY!!! Nigeria’s startup failure rate stands at 90% within the first three years—yet most founders plan extensively for growth and almost never for exit. This masterclass is not only for startup founders, but also for aspiring founders, entrepreneurs, business partners, professionals, and anyone looking to better understand the realities of building and sustaining businesses. Research shows that 65% of high-potential startup failures are driven not by market conditions, but by founder and team conflict. When left unresolved, these conflicts stall decision-making, accelerate cash burn, and often turn what could be a structured exit into prolonged legal disputes. The session introduces the 3F Protocol — a structured framework for achieving an honorable exit that is Fast, resolving closure within 90 days; Fair, applying transparent, data-driven asset distribution anchored in CAMA 2020; and Frictionless, replacing courtroom conflict with digital mediation now enforceable as a High Court Consent Judgment under Nigeria's Arbitration and Mediation Act 2023. Topic: Don't Burn To Zero: The Smart Founder's Guide To Shutting Down Date: Today, Tue 12 May 2026 Time: 7:00 PM Key Focus: - Knowing When to Exit – Identify failure signals early and make smart shutdown decisions. - Managing Founder Conflict – Resolve disputes before they destroy value. - Applying the 3F Protocol – Execute shutdowns that are Fast, Fair, and Frictionless. - Navigating Legal Compliance – Understand key shutdown laws and obligations. - Protecting Reputation & Value – Preserve credibility, salvage assets, and prepare for what's next. Our expert speaker, Laura Bismarck Emereole, Partner at Fama Firm and Head of ADR & Training at Fama ADR, is a distinguished dispute resolution practitioner and legal administrator, with deep expertise at the intersection of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR), judicial reform, and institutional leadership. Book Recommendation for May Trade Wars Are Class Wars – A smart, global economics pick for women in trade and international business. Authors: Matthew C. Klein & Michael Pettis Description : Trade disputes are usually understood as conflicts between countries with competing national interests, but as Matthew C. Klein and Michael Pettis show, they are often the unexpected result of domestic political choices to serve the interests of the rich at the expense of workers and ordinary retirees. Klein and Pettis trace the origins of today’s trade wars to decisions made by politicians and business leaders in China, Europe, and the United States over the past thirty years. Across the world, the rich have prospered while workers can no longer afford to buy what they produce, have lost their jobs, or have been forced into higher levels of debt. In this thought‑provoking challenge to mainstream views, the authors provide a cohesive narrative that shows how the class wars of rising inequality are a threat to the global economy and international peace—and what we can do about it. #WIEN #BookRecommendation #May2026 #TradeWarsAreClassWars #GlobalEconomics #InternationalTrade #Inequality #EconomicGovernance #ProfessionalDevelopment #StrategicThinking #GlobalMarkets #TradePolicy #LeadershipLibrary #EconomicIntelligence #WomenInTrade #InclusiveGrowth.
