Celebrating together the launch of the Monocle Townhouse at the Widder Hotel.
An evening of shared drinks, open conversations and easy laughter, as friends and guests moved through the townhouse and made it their own.
Created in collaboration with Monocle, the space is designed for moments like these — generous, warm and quietly joyful.
More space. More character.
The Design King Deluxe combines historic details with timeless design. From authentic clay and hardwood floors to iconic pieces by Le Corbusier and Eames.
A place to unwind, work, and take in views across Zurich’s Old Town.
A butcher’s display, reinterpreted.
@madametricot knits food - meat, sausages and even innards. Everything you would typically find in a butcher’s shop.
Now, her work enters Boucherie AuGust - not as decoration, but as a dialogue between beauty and discomfort, humour and precision. #AuGustxMadameTricot
Nine houses. One story.
Once home to craftsmen and guilds, these walls carry centuries of Zurich’s past. Carefully restored and connected, they form what Widder Hotel is today - a place where history is not preserved behind glass, but quietly continues.
At first glance, everything feels familiar: Sausages in the display. Exactly where they belong.
And then — a second look. Handcrafted in wool, not in meat. Precise, playful, quietly subversive.
Together with Swiss knitting artist @madametricot , Boucherie AuGust becomes a space of reinterpretation - where tradition is not replaced, but gently questioned.
