Huge hometown gig and a really big goal that we wanted to achieve since widaparte started, lower town arts fest has always been something we admired a lot and we’re super pumped to be apart of it this year, huge thanks to Marley for getting us on
For the first time in a long time the Madisonville, KY area will be hosting a kickass hardcore/ metal show in honor of our 1 year anniversary of playing shows at the place where it all started for us! If you arent yet familiar with them - Widaparte is a emotional hardcore group from Paducah, Kentucky. They're on the rise in the scene for their high energy live performances as theyve recently shared the stage with heavy hitters from @camping.in.alaska to @febuaryemo in the past couple months. 4 blistering tracks rounding out at 10 minutes - these guys are bringing the intense early 2000s screamo back to the forefront of the music scene and one listen of this EP will show you all the reasons why. Had the honor of seeing this group perform at DD3 and I was instantly floored by the passion behind these songs!
