5/2 we are hosting the after party for the @youngstownmaydayfestival with free admission, vegan food, and performances from @wednesday_demonstration , Jonathan Blackshire, and one of the first ever performances from Evening Smoke.
5/8 you’ll see a singer songwriter event. If you like vh1 storytellers this will be like that and mtv unplugged had a baby. Performances from @a7xforever6@humblescounty@basilgangliaofficial and the ever so famous @nickadducimusic
5/22: we have a fun hard rock bill. Features 2 female fronted bands that were on this months federal frenzy lineup with @singled.out.216 and @doomsdaydarlingband . Returning is none other than @currentscollide

March 19, 2016. We hosted our very first concert here at The Wickyards! Now we’re celebrating 10 years! We’ve come a long way since that first show, and we wouldn’t be here today without you! Thank you all for quite the ride! That first show with Big Ginge and The Nobodies, @deadendjobtheband , @whereswinonanow , The Leffingwells, and Flipswitch set us up for a decade of amazing moments. We have more planned to honor this anniversary later this year but we couldn’t let the day go by without doing something. Enjoy this reflection and highlight reel, of just some of the signature moments of the past decade of music, ghosts, and fun times. Apologies if you don’t see your act in the video. If I included everyone this vid would be like 10+ min long. Never did I think we would be here right now. If I did I would’ve picked a better name like The Coffin Club or something. Couldn’t do it without all of you though! You’re the ones who come to shows, and plan events. Without you it’s just a building. A really old grandiose building, but it’s nothing without the atmosphere created by you. The ones who create a cool tight knit community that welcomes everyone, and you’re the ones who bring that third place nature here. I’m just the weird guy that orchestrates it behind the scenes. I’m just very thankful you’ve allowed me to do this for so long and that you keep coming back! I consider so many of you friends and it wouldn’t be possible without you supporting local live art. Hope you missed us we’re back! Our next show is just around the corner! This Saturday the 17th actually. We have none other than @thirdclass coming back for another round who put on an impeccable live show for those who haven’t seen. They’ll be joined on the bill by @slugg___band . It’s only $5! So come on down it’ll be super easy barely an inconvenience.
We figured since we’re not having any public events this December we take the chance to look back at the crazy fall we had!
First off Wick-o-Ween 25’ was a huge success! Performances from @nickadducimusic , The Slyest and Flyest, @theheadtrips_band , Night of Rage, and @killingbirdsband really made it a night to remember with each act bringing something a bit different to the table!

One show left for us for 2025! It’s a fundraiser event for @youngstownskateparkassociation ! This event features 4 bands with @driftingthingohio with a special acoustic performance, sets by @miss_heard_melody , @thefranticnancys , and headlined by @skyrail_band ! The event will also feature more than a dozen vendors, a basket raffle, and a food truck!! All proceeds benefit Youngstown Skatepark Associations mission to bring a free public skatepark to the city of Youngstown. They will be selling merch of their own during the event so come out for a fun night and support local this small business Saturday!
