Introducing guest fascilitator @wicksimmons
For Darkness Visible II, cellist, composer, electronic artist, and historian Wick Simmons facilitates an investigation that treats sound as both a resonant practice and a physical expression. Together, participants explore and record sound as a multisensory experience, expressing their personal relationships to the vibrating stillness, feverish rushes, and fracturing of long-held tones, voices, and improvisation. This process destabilizes the traditional boundaries between creators and listeners, fostering a space where connection takes shape.
