Heading to Bonny Belfast for a show with the hardyman, Ray Coen. at The Harrison on Thursday 9th of April. That's a few days time. Looking forward to bring you our mixture of tunes and songs from our respective albums.
I just found a photo of 'Juggler' my early teenage band with cousin Hughie Purcell just out of frame and Joe O' Connor on Bass and Derek Roche in there behind the drums. We played regularly in Dublin at the Towns Inn and The Parliament. We had our own brand of 'Medieval Rock' originals although we liked to play a lot of 'Weather Report'. The Christian Brothers allowed us to rehearse in a room at the weekends. We used to rent the PA and a couple of smoke/flash bombs that would detonate on the front row.
