Cowboy got diagnosed with lymphoma in the fall and Luc and I had to say goodbye to her a few days ago.
She really tried her best to not show her pain, but we knew she was tired and it was time. I feel so so blessed that I got to spend 8 years with such a loving, kind and incredibly funny critter.
I got her from the humane society and was told she was a stray cat off the street. As soon as she grabbed onto my arm and starting biting and kicking me, I knew I had to have her <3 She had attitude, but was never mean. She bit, but never hard. She pulled out all my socks at 3:00am, but only to have a comfortable spot to snooze. As a fellow minor-shit-disturber-with-good-intentions...she had my whole heart very quicky.
She found comfort and trust in everything and everyone she met. If you had the pleasure of her choosing your shoulder as her resting place or got to witness her roll on her back for you to scratch her belly- you would know this well.
To everyone who sent us kind words- thank you so so much, it means the world to us and I'm so happy she got to have so much love while she was here <3
